The chart below demonstrates an information about the way in which water was used in several countries in 2000.
It is clear that the use of water in most of the countries was in agricultural way more compared to industry and domestic use as it holds 70% in the pie chart below.
The use of water in 2000 was mostly for agriculture in most of the countries, for instance in China use of water for agriculture was 69%, 9% use for domestic way, and 22% for industry. In India the difference was much higher in agriculture, because it was 92% for agriculture, 5% for domestic use and 3% for industry. In New Zealand the use of water for agriculture and domestic use was almost equal as it is 44% for agricultural use, 46% for domestic use and 10% for industry more less compared to them.
And in Canada the use of water was mostly for industrial use by 80%, 12% for domestical use and 8% for agricultural use and it was different compared to other countries because most use of the water was for agricultural use.
World water use was mostly consisted agriculture in most of the countries except Canada because most of the countries used the water for agricultural use except Canada the use of water in agriculture was nearly equal in New Zealand but the use of water was mostly used for agriculture in India as it holds 92% of the chart.
