The charts consist information about local government expenditure in 2010 and 2015. There were some parts of expenditures as education, healthcare, pensions, defence, welfare, interest of borrowing, transport, culture, leisure and other.
Education, healthcare, pensions and defence consisted the biggest parts of expenditures in 2010. They were almost equal. The government spend in that year 24 per cent for education, 21 per cent for healthcare, 19 per cent for pensions, 17 per cent for defence, 8% for welfare. the percentage of other parts did not reach more than 5%.
The percentage of education declined to 21% in 2015 as well as healthcare slightly fell to 20% and defence’s fell to 14% in that year. In the last year of the question’s period pension’s expenditures were the same as in first period. Welfare’s expenditures dramatically rose up to 13% by 2015. As well as percentage of interest of borrowing grew up in twice and reached 10% by 2015. The other parts as transport, culture and leisure and other fell to 1% by 2015.
Overall, there were huge parts of expenditures, but they almost did not change year-by-year. Meanwhile, there were parts of expenditures, which changed significantly. Although, they were not huge.
