To commence with the year 1995, it can be observed that the largest person of energy was utilised for heating by Australians which was accounted for 40% respectively. Whereas, 30% of power had consumed by water heating. Moreover, other appliances along with lighting and refrigeration have used similar proportion of energy that was 10% each significantly.
In terms of 2015, the average household energy used for both the heating and water heating have experienced dipped by 10% and 5% compared to that of the year 1995. By the contrast, other appliances and refrigeration have witnessed surge to 20% and 15% considerably. Meanwhile, the percentage for energy used in lighting have remained at 10%.
All in all, it is readily apparent that Australians have major usage of power for heating and water heating; however, their power consumption through other appliances and refrigeration have noticeable increased throughout two respective decades. Lighting remained at the lowest for energy usage.
