The pie charts illustrate how much unhealthy nutrients(sodium, saturated fast and added sugar) were consumed by adults in average in the UK. Here, diagram shows how different sources of unhealthy nutrients were entered in the body of adults in percentage.
During breakfast, almost equal amount of unhealthy nutrients were consumed, ranges from 13% to 16%. There is no variabilityof unhealthy nutrient intake in early morning. Similar case was found during lunch time, but te portion of consumption is approx. 2 times more than that of breakfast i.e. 20%, 26% and 28% daily intake of added sugar, saturated fat and sodium respectively.
But, during the time of dinner portion of the consumption of saturated fast and sodium is almost similar which is equal to 39% and 43% respectively which significantly differ from added sugar(only19%).
In addition to that, the sodium and the saturated fat that is consumed at high level during dinner got reduced at the time of snack and reached to 17% and 19% of total portion of daily intake of respective unhealthy nutrients. In contrast to that, maximum consumption of added sugar was found during snack time whcich is almost equal to half portion of daily intake. Along with that, added sugar was the unhealthy nutrient that is consumed highly at a single time frame(i.e. 45% of total added sugar consumption at snack time).
