The pie charts illustrate the percentage of three types of nutrients in four meals use in the USA.
Looking from an overall perspective, dinner and snacks has the highest percentages of sodium and added suger ; whereas, breakfast has the lowest across all three nutrients types.
According to the pie charts, in breakfast, both saturated fat and added has 16% of nutrients; whereas, sodium is only 13%. Then, in lunch,most of the nutrients has 28%, which makes up for sodium; Whereas, saturated and added sugar has only 6% of difference.
On the other hand, the nutrients of added sugar in snacks is the highest at 45%.while it only 17% and 19% contributes for sodium and saturated fat respectively. In dinner, both sodium and saturated fat has a high average of shares with 42% and 39% respectively. Meanwhile, added sugar is comparatively less with 19%.
