Overall, while the amount of money spent on football and swimming increased, rugby and tennis witnessed a fall. In addition, football recorded the highest budget allocated to sport equipments throutout the period.
At the start of the period, in 2000, the figure for football stood at 60 dollars, which was 20 dollars higher than the figure for rugby. It also doubled the datum for tennis. At the bottom of the list, the amount of money per customer spent on swimming equipment only stood at 10 dollars.
Thereafter, the figure for football saw a slight growth to 70 dollars in 2020, still holds the first rank. By contrast, the money allocated to rugby equipment decreased marginally to 30 dollars this year. Similarly, the figure for tennis experienced a significant drop, which decreased 3 times compared to the start of the period. Meanwhile, the datum for swimming doubled in 2020 compared to 2000.
