The two pie charts display the key reasons for traffic jams in different cities. Both charts are divided into five categories: Private car use, poor public transport, roadworks, accidents and other. Overall, it can be seen that the main reason for traffic congestion is the use of private cars and poor infrastructure.
Pie charts show that for both cities the main issues are private car use and poor public transport. For city A these categories make up 70% and for the second city it is 65%, which represents almost a similar proportion. Moreover, for both cities roadworks and accidents together are forming approximately one third of traffic congestion reasons.
The main difference between these pie charts is the largest proportions. While in the first one it can be observed that almost a half of the traffic congestion is caused by private car use, the second one shows that it accounts for only 30%. By contrast, in City B poor public transport makes up 35%, which is 10% higher than in City A.
