The pie chart illustrates the proportion of various cuisines preferred by individuals in Canada and the bar graph compares the number of Indian cafes from 1960 to 2015.
Overall, it can be seen that Chinese made up the largest group in favorite takeaways and the highest indicator of Indian restaurants was showed in 2007, 2009, 2011, and 2015.
To begin, the pie chart shows that most Canadians ordered Chinese food, which accounted for around one-third of the orders, while the lowest takeaways belonged to Mexican, Japanese, and Greek, each at 1%. When it comes to Italian, Persian, and never order, their total proportion was nearly one-third. As for Indian dishes, they held a significant portion, with over a quarter of the total orders, compared to Thai (3%) and others (4%).
Turning to the bar chart, the smallest number was recorded in 1960 with around 500 and the figure grew significantly, reaching nearly 9000 by 2007. In 2007, 2009, 2011, and 2015, the amounts were approximately equal.
