The bar charts illustrate the primary motivations for art students of various age groups to pursue their studies and the proportion of the students who expressed high levels of satisfaction with their course.
It is clear from the chart that people under 26 study for their career progression, while people over 49 study for their personal interests. The second bar chart identifies that number of people under 26 hit the highest point so they are very satisfied group with their choice of course.According to what is shown,if most people under 26 think about their career, this ratio four times higher than the number of people over 49. Here, in both categories there was a reverse exchange between younger and older students, meaning that while the number of career seekers decreased by 60%, the number of those studying for fun increased by 60%. The figures for personal interest and career show a similar pattern about 40%, when students are between 40-49 years old.
Those, under 26 who prioritize their careers were the most satisfied group, and the number of them nearly 60%. As students get older, the ratio of satisfaction only decreased and hit the lowest point over 30%, and they are students among 30-39 years old. Interestingly, as students’ goals shift from career to personal play after age 40, their satisfaction levels start to increase again.
