The pie charts illustrate the proportion of energy consumption across different sectors in Eastern Australia in the years 2007 and 2010.
Overall, it is evident that the residential and commercial categories being the energy that have the most consumption, accounting for more than half of the chart in both years.
There was some notable shift throughout the period. Manufacturing exhibited a downgraded trend, declined by 4%, from 13% to 9%. The exact same trend happening with aluminium consumption, it got slightly decrease from 13% to 11%. In contrast, the other metal sectors saw an increase, rise slightly from 12% to 18% at the end of 2010. The remaining categories remained relatively stable, with mining at 9%and agriculture and transport both at 1%.
In conclusion, if Eastern Australia don’t have any breakthrough innovation, maybe residential and commercial sectors will still stayed at their dominant place.
