The charts provide information about proportion of electricity consumption via variety sectors in Eastern Australia in two separate years.
Overall, the most categories remained unchanged, while residential sector was dominant in both years. Notably, “other metals” exhibited considerable rise, whereas manufacturing and aluminum demonstrated a significantly decline. Surprisingly, the transport and agriculture sectors maintained their place between two years.
Most sectors experienced little change in electricity consumption over the period. Residential use remained dominant in both years, holding stable share of 28%. Similarly, mining maintained a steady 9%, while transport and agriculture accounted for the lowest proportions, each at 1%.
In contrast, some industries showed dramatic changes. The “other metals” sector increased surprisingly from 12% in 2007 to 18% in 2010, making it the third-largest user of electricity. Conversely, manufacturing and aluminum experienced a decline. Manufacturing dropped sharply from 13% to 9%, while aluminum decreased greatly from 13% to 11%.
