Overall, the only source who is and is expected to be in a constant upwards trend are renewables, whilst coal, gas, nuclear energy have experienced a downfall in percentages and other sources have not seen any major changes.
Firstly, one of the most noteworthy changes that occur within the energetic production is the rise in renewable energy production, growing from 10% to 20% in the span of 30 years and is expected to double in number in 2040.
Another key features are changes that occur in the percentages of coal that has dropped 10% from 1990 to 2020 and is expected to do so as well in 2040.Futhermore, nuclear energy and gases have been in a slight decline, their production falling and are forecasted to do so as well in 2040. Furhtermore, other sources have been constant in the span of 30 year and will probably increase 2% in production in 2040
