The present line graphs compares the proportion of people who used public transport in 5 different cities of Australia namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide between 2000 to 2010.
Overall, the number of public transportation users Brisbane and Sydney was increasing in the period of 10 years; however, other towns did not have any visible alternative.
According to the graph, the first city in 2010 that used public transportation was Brisbane by 27%, yet this city from 2000 to 2002 had third level by 15%; therefore, the trend had moderate change. Nevertheless, the first city which used public transportation was Sydney with 20% in 2000; then, the line rose slightly to 24% in 2009 finally, in 2010 the percentage was absolutely the same as in 2009, and cached up to the second level.
Although, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide respectively, for using public transportation had altered rapidly, In addition, the percentage at the beginning was the same as the proportion in 2010. Melbourne at the start had 18%, and in 2004 touched at the minimum, but from 2005 to 2006 peaked; then became the same as in 2000. Perth was stabilizing, but from 2004 until 2007 had a maximum of 11%. Adelaide had waves.
