Overall, the UK witnessed a fluctuating change in each figure throughout the period with the upward trend mainly taking place. Besides, women always reached the highest point over the given time.
All of the patterns underwent a significant rise from 2001 to 2006. Precisely, the percentage of women who ate fruit and vegetables regularly rose remarkably from around 20% to over 30%. Meanwhile, the data on men and children show that they stayed unchanged until 2003, with about 18% and 12%, respectively. Children started to rise significantly in 2004, and it achieved a similar percentage of men in the previous years before reaching around 24% in 2006. Besides, men reached more than 20% in 2005 and nearly 25% in 2006.
In 2007, three firms witnessed a fluctuating trend. In other words, the percentage of women decreased steadily from more than 30% in 2006 to exactly 30% in 2008. At the same time, the proportion of men had the same data in 2007 and slightly dropped to roughly 25%. The percentage of children still had a rise to over 25% in 2007, before decreasing to the same proportion in 2006.
