The bar graph below illustrates the people who consumed fruits and vegetables per day from year 2001 to 2008 in UK. Overall, women consumed more fruits and vegetables as compared to men and children throughout those years.
As can be seen from the graph, about 20 per cent of women ate fruits and vegetables daily whereas fruits and vegetables consumed by men and children were relatively less during the year 2001.Simlarly, during 2002 there was slight increament in portion taken by women and reached nearly 25 per cent and percentage of men and children remained same i.e. 15 per cent and 10 per cent at that particular year. Furthermore, percentage of women took small increament and reached more than 25 per cent whereas there was no change in percentage of food consumed by men and children. Surprisingly, during the year 2004 percentage of men and children consuming nutritious item increased rapidly and went about 20 per cent and more than 15 per cent respectively whereas women consumed about 30 per cent of food at daily basis. The percentage of women consuming food peaked at 2006 and went to more than 30 per cent and there was rapid increament in percentage of men and children also at that year.Moreover, women consuming healthy food slightly decreased in year 2007 and 2008. Similarly, percentage of children and men also went highest during 2007 which slightly decreased at following year.
In the nutshell, people consuming fruits and vegetables was increasing until 2006 which was decreased at small rate due to busy life at following year in UK.
