Two pie charts provide information about the percentage of secondary school students at a school in the UK taking various subjects in 1995 and the present.

Overall, the pie charts show that in 1995, secondary school students chose more history; this subject was the highest percentage compared to the other five subjects. While the percentage of RS was low, thedominant subject is now IT.

Focusing on the details, in 1995, history was responsible for 26% of the total subjects, and geography had 21%. Meanwhile, RS was at a low level of 9%. At present, IT comprises 27% of all subjects. History is now only 2% less than IT, but geography has increased. However, the number of students selecting RS has decreased.

According to the total subjects, in 1995, art and business accounted for 15% and 16%, respectively; these percentages are at the same level. Drama was at 12%, so the number of students selecting this subject has decreased. At the same time, business maintained the same percentage, but art has slumped by 8%, which is around the past percentage for RS.
