Pie charts below show proportion of students taking part in different courses in 1985 and now.
Overall, it is evident that while modern languages lead in the first shown year, IT courses are more common these days. Notably , interests of students has shifted through years, having some courses replaced by others.
In 1985, membership of modern languages such as French, German and Spanish were the most significant with 24 %. Falling some behind were fitness and dance lessons showing 22 %. Students engagement in Art and Local history were negligible with 17% and 15%. Less common classe were cookery and music appreciation which accounted only for 14% and 8%.
By contrast, this year, modern IT courses has stepped interests of linguistics demonstarting overall 27%, being the most participated class ever. Secondly most common were the courses of fitness and dance as well as cookery. While percentage of former has remained stable, the latter expereinced a slifgt increase of 5 %. Interest for Art classes has fallen to 15 % and is the least liked course now.
