The chart illustrates the proportion of students who joined different courses offered by an adult educational setting in 1985 and this year.
Overall, it is evident that all of the courses registered by the students, specifically Modern languages, Cookery, and IT, registered an upward trend, with the most considerable interest in the IT course. Although the fitness and dance course was attended at a very high rate, only after Modern languages in 1985, this figure remained unchanged this year. In addition, there was no longer any interest in the music course this year.
To be specific, many students at the school were interested in learning about Modern languages, with a rate of 24% in 1985, after which it significantly dropped to 17% in 2025. Following this percentage, fitness and dance courses were registered largely by the students at 22% in the first year, and this number still stayed the same in 2025. Interestingly, the percentage of students attending local history courses only accounted for 15%, after which it considerably increased to 27% this year.
Conversely, there were only 8% of students joining music courses in 1985, and the interest was no longer present over time until this year. Art courses also witnessed a slight decrease from 17% (1985) to 15% (2025). However, the percentage of those students who desired to learn cookery increased by 5%, starting with 14% in 1995 and reaching 19% in 2025.
