The pie charts depict the proportion of students engaging several courses offered in 1985 and this year on an adult center.
Overall, while art, cookery, modern languages courses have seen a decrease in the number of learners, the fitness and dance students have remained unchanged. Moreover, after a period, music appreciation and local history course were deleted and replaced by IT course.
In 1985, modern languages were the most popular course with 24% of preference, followed by fitness and dance course with 22%. Furthermore, the number of students learning art were higher than that of local history, with 17% compared to 15%. Students engaging into cookery course (14%) were nearly two folds higher than those learnt music appreciation (8%).
This year, local history course and music appreciation were erased and IT course was added in order to replace them with 27% of preference. In addition, while the number of art learners have decreased over the period by 2%, the figure for cookery students have increased slightly by 4%. Finally, the number of fitness and dance learners have remained unchanged; meanwhile, that of modern languages have fall considerable by 7%.
