In North America and Europe, about half of the water is used only for industries, while in South America, it is only 10%. South America uses over two-thirds, or 71%, of the water, while, Europe and North America utilize one-third of the water for agricultural purposes. Few people use water in North America, South America, and Europe, but it is higher than in other parts of Asia.
The portion of water used for domestic objects is 9% in Africa. Moreover, water consumption for domestic purposes is constant at 7% in central Asia and southeast Asia. However, the figure shows that using water for agricultural purposes is mostly similar in Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Whereas using water for industrial purposes is at 7% in America, which is lower than in Southeast Asia,. On the other hand, Central Asian communities are using the least amount of water for industrial purposes, which is 5%.
