The chart illustrate the percentage of readers who interested in reading in four types of book at A&Z library in 2009.
In general, reading self-help books was the most popular choice in two age groups, meanwhile the lowest percentage was represented by science fiction books.
In 2009, the percentage of people who aged 18-25 years old enjoyed reading self-help books accounted for 58%, while in 26-34 years old people , this figure contributed at 42%. In 26-34 age group, biograph ies made up with 31% reader. Moreover, this percentage made up by 21% participations rate in 18-25 age group.
Moving to science fiction books, which was the lowest proportion in both groups, in 26-34 years old people, this figure represented just only 7% and accounting for only 9% in the percentage of people who aged 18-25 years old. For novels, the percentage of 18-25 years old read novels was bigger than other, at 23% and 20% respectively.
