The charts illustrate the percentage of holiday makers using 4 different types of accommodation in 1988, 1998 and 2008, including: staying with family, rented apartment, camping and hotels. To begin with, rented apartments, which was the lowest option that people chose for accommodation (just only 7%), had increased substantially to 11% in ten years; this figure ended with 22% in 2008, which became one of the best selections. Conversely, the feature of camping decreased from 26% to 12% in the final year
Looking at the hotels option, it started at 15% in 1988; however, this feature climbed dramatically to 22% in 1998 and stayed stably in the following decade. Relatively, the figure for staying with family made up 52% at first and went up to 54% in 1998 before plumned 10% at the end of the period.
