The three pie graphs provide a comparison of the percentage of holidaymakers using four distinct categories of accommodation from 1988 to 2008.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that the proportion of people staying with family in holiday was the highest during the period shown. While the data for people who rented apartments was the lowest between 1988 and 1998.
As can be seen from the pie charts, the figure for people spending their holiday on family was the highest, at 52% in 1988, and the second highest proportion was for holidaymakers using hotels in holiday at 26%. By contrast, the percentage of people who tended to rent apartments was the lowest at the same time, at only 7%.
Turning to other features, it is clear that the period from 1998 to 2008 experienced a slight decrease in the figure for people staying with family from 54% to 44%. Whereas, the data for people who love camping on holiday remained almost unchanged during the same time, at about 12%.
