The diagrams illustrates the different parts of the Swiss Watch Market by brand in 2020 and 2021.
Overall, the share of Rolex increased, dominating the other five brands. The share of the Swiss Watch Market of five other brands, including Omega, Cartier, Patek, Longines and AP, have decreased.
In 2020, Rolex has 39.5% of the total shares in the market, which is far more than any other brands. Omega, as the second largest shareholder among the brands, obtained 15.6% of the shares. The brand AP had the lowest shares with a 10% only in the market and 0.1% difference when compared to Longines.
In 2021, the shares of Rolex continued to increase relentlessly, almost exceeding half of the total market shares, whilst the shares of the other brands were reduced, where the drop in market shares were most prominent for Omega. Despite the drastic decrease for Omega, the brand still managed to maintain the top 3 position among the brands, with itself being surpassed by Cartier, the new second largest shareholder in 2021.
