Overall, large amount of water was used for livestock, while the highest revenue generate from fruit products. Notably, rice and vegetable both had lowest in both category.
In 2004, more than one-third of water used by livestock to about 36% in Australia. Moreover, dairy and cotton products consumed water for agriculture products in Australia was 15% and 19% respectively. There was a striking resemblance between the number for sugar and fruit in terms of water consumption, around 10%. The water absorption for rice and vegetable was negligible, at 5% and 4% respectively
In 2004, in Australia, highest capital generate from farming products was fruit and dairy products, around 44% and 24%, followed by cotton at around 13%. Lastly, income generate from rice, vegetable, livestock and sugar was negligible at 10%,5%,6% and 7% respectively.
