Overall, Canberra recorded the highest figure compared to the other cities, whereas Melbourne had the lowest water level. Perth and Sydney showed an increase over the period, while Darwin experienced a decline. Brisbane remained stable throughout the period.
In October 2009, Canberra accounted for a high figure of just above 80%, and it demonstrated a sharp increase, reaching 100% in October 2010. Meanwhile, Darwin showed a dramatic decline from 40% to 20%. In the same year, Perth had 40% of water in its reservoirs; however, by October 2010, this figure had risen significantly to 60%. Similarly, Sydney experienced a slight increase, reaching approximately 80%.
On the other hand, Melbourne showed a noticeable rise from 20% in 2009 to 40% in 2010. In contrast, Brisbane remained at the same level throughout the period.
