Saturated fat is also consumed mainly at dinner with 37% of total consumption of this nutrient being done at that meal. 26% of the total intake is taken at lunch. Next comes breakfast and snacks with 16% and 21% of the total consumption being done during these meals respectively.
A different scenario is seen in the case of added sugar intake, where, 42% of this nutrient is taken into the body while having snacks. 23%, 19%, and 16% of added sugar are consumed during dinner, lunch, and breakfast respectively.
