Band 5: The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time did after leaving college in 2008 (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The couple of bar graphs compare the amount of United Kingdom’s undergraduate and postgraduate students who avoided full-time work after quitting college in the year 2008.

Overall, it can be elucidated that majority of learners continued to study after their graduation whereas students involved in voluntary works were least in both the cases.

In detail, the bar graphs depict that the figure of students choosing part-time work after their graduation on undergraduate programs was 17,735 whereas the figure of this destination after post graduation was only 2,535. The total number of learners of Britain joining voluntary work after their graduation was 3,845 where the number for undergraduates was 3500 and was mere 345 for postgraduates.

The figure of students preferring further study was very high in the UK in 2008 where 29,665 bachelor’s graduate continued their further studies and 2,725 master program’s students studies doctorate degree. Although the educated people has quite ease to get job opportunities, 17,860 of the total students who were graduated from UK in the year 2008 were unemployed.
