The bar charts compare the amounts of protein and calories consumed by citizens in four different regions.
Overall, it can be inferred from the charts that the more protein people consume, the more calories they consume. Additionally, other protein was the most popular source of protein in India, while the opposite is true in the case of animal protein in North America.
In terms of protein consumption, there was nearly 30g of protein intake by Indians, which contained around 10g of animal protein and 20g of other protein. This was followed by East Africa, in which citizens in this region consumed the same amount of the two types of protein, more than 15g. In stark contrast, the quantities of other protein and protein from animals in North America were 60g and 20g, respectively; which were around 3 times larger than in India.
Despite having the largest amounts of protein and calories consumed, the ratio between these two categories in North America was the lowest, with a total of 3500 calories and 80g of protein per day. Moreover, the calories intake in the other three countries was quite close, at an average of more than 2300 calories.
