The diagrams highlights data about the amount of male and femal drivers who got the licence in certain European country, over a thirty year-period, between 1976 and 2006.
Overall, the percentage of men with driving licence saw a slight rose and was on the top of the list, while female drivers who got the certificate, experienced a noticeable growths during the thirty year-period. Moreover, the amount of young drivers saw a downward trend and was dramatically less than the percentage of drivers in total.
According to the first chart, the amount of male who got the licence started at 70, continueing with small upward trends, reached 80 percent in 2006. However, female drivers starting point was much less than men’s, which is equal to 30 percent. In contrast, in 1981 the percentage of women drivers experienced a stable increases and reached the 60 percent in 2006.
It is clear that, the percentage of taking licence for both gender of young drivers dramatically decreased from 50% to around 20%. Men saw a fall around 5%, whereas girls’ percentage of fall was 10%. As regarding to the charts, the total amount of people with driving licence was higher than the percentage of young drivers.
