The presented picture shows the proportion of world forest in South America, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. Overall, it is clear that Africa has the biggest forest, while Asia is the region with the lowest proportion. In addition, North America has the highest percentage of timber, and the least percentage is in Africa.
Firstly, it is seen that the highest percentage of world forest is South America at 27%, followed by North America at a quarter. Moreover, Europe has 18% of forest in worldwide, while Africa and Asia have very low proportion, which is at 16% and 14% respectively.
Furthermore, the percentage of timber in five region is lead by North America at 30%. Meanwhile, the percentage followed by Africa at 23% and Europe with one fifth proportion of timber. The second least region with timber is Asia which is at 18%, and the lowest is Africa with less then 10%.
