Overall, it is evident that the majority of student chose MBA for better job opportunities. In addition, qualifications are not the first priority of employers when interviewing.
To begin with, while students do MBA for different reasons, about two-thirds of them chose MBA for more chances at the competitive work market. Then, the ability to do job better is recorded to be the reasons of 15% students. It is followed by the expectation of personal development, which accounts for 12%. The rest 8% of graduates chose MBA degree to help others.
Specifically, there are five different main values that employers consider the most. Firstly, employers value employees’ personality about a quarter, it is also the same percentage as employees’ previous experience, especially knowledge. It is followed by how people present and their previous connections, which accounts for a fifth each quality. Finnally, qualifications are the element that employers consider the least among the main five values, account for only one in tenth.
