The two charts illustrate the primary means of transportation utilized by individuals commuting to a university in 2004 and 2009.
Overall, it can be witnessed that there was a noticeable increase in the usage of all transportation methods over the 5-year-period excluding cars since its utilizing proportion decreased by half.
One of the major changes over this period is the transition from cars to buses, with the former falling from 51% to 28% and the latter rising from 33% to 46%, making it the most favored mode of transport. In 2009, the proportion of people travelling by bus became the highest in the total number of vehicles operated in a university. Additionally, the utilization of bicycle trains experienced a slight rise, reaching respectively 16% and 4% by 2009. At the same time, walking also noticed a marginal change, reaching to 6% in total.
