The given pie charts compare the ways of transportation to college for either job or study during 2004 and 2009. Overall, compared to the charts using car has the highest proportion in 2024, however in 2009 it is taking the bus ,whereas in both years transporting by train has the lowest percentage.
In 2004, driving accounted for half of the chart ( 51%), while in 2009 it has seen a drop to aquarter of the pie with being 28%. Moreover, in 2004 taking bus occupied for 33% but over the 5 year period it increased to nearly half of the pie at 46%. Cycling, however approximetly doubled during 2004 and 2009 from 9% to 16%.
A closer inspection is seen that only a small propportion is accountable for using train and and walking. In both years there was a minor change in the usage of train with only 1%, from 3%to 4%. Same as for walking is only rose to about 2% from 4% to 6%.
