The pie charts provide data about the proportion of four distinctive types of accomodation: staying with friends/relatives, hotel, camping, and caravans which people tend to stay while they were in a particular region, over a time span of 4 decades between 1965 and 2005.
Overall, it is apparant that initially numerous people prote to stay either with their friends or relatives. As time passed, more and more people got used to spend the night in hotels compared to other demographics. Notably, the number of holidaymakers who were staying with relatives/friends saw declined considerably throughout a timeline provided.
In 1965, over half of the holidaymakers chose to visit their freinds or acquintances, while the 16%, 15% and 14% of remaining people preferred hotel, camping and caravans, repectively.
After 20 years, the number of people who preferred hotels surged significantly and presented 37%, while the amount of travelers who stayed at their friends’ houses dropped markedly to 35%. Furthermore, remaining categories did not face notable alterations
In the last year of the survey period given, the amount of trippers who selected their mates/family’s houses decreased further and became 30%, whereas the caravan and camping proponents percentages was 20 % and 12%, respectively.Focusing on the dominant figure, in the same year, sleeping in the hotel ceased at 38% after a minor rise of 1%.
