Overall, it is transparent that the proportion of visitors choosing to stay in hotels and caravans witnessed an upward tendency while the opposite was true for the people who prefer to enjoy staying with friends or relatives, and camping. Furthermore , the percentage of staying with friends was examined as the highest figure in the first year, while choosing hotels was the highest figure in the last year.
In 1965, standing at 55%, which was the highest figure, staying with friends and relatives tended to substantially decrease to 35% in the next twenty years, then continue to minimally reduce to 30%. Consequently , there was a significant increase in visitors who stayed in hotels, from 16% to 38% between 1965 and 2005, with the final figure in 2005 which tripled choosing camping .
In addition, the percentage of holidaymakers who stayed camping climbed by 3%, from 15% to 18% in twenty years, but later it gradually reduced to 12%, which was the lowest figure in 2005. Similarly, the caravans had a substantial oscillation, standing at 14% in the first examined year, 10% in the next twenty years, then the percentage of travelers staying in caravans doubled, accounted for 20% in 2005.
