Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the number of new cars sold witnessed a stable increase. Despite the reversed trend, The saloon model was the most significant player with the highest data compared to the SUV and others.
Looking first at the Saloon car observing the highest number, about 31.500 new cars( were sold to customers, which represented 75% of the total 42.000 cars in 1994. This also decreased stably by 20% in the next two decades, reaching 31.200 cars in 2004, before ending at 28.608 cars at the end of the period. Regarding the percentage, this accounted for 65% and 55% in 2004 and 2014, respectively.
Turning next to the SUV and the others, they both witnessed the upward trend. The sales of the SUV car started at only 2520 cars, representing the lowest quantity in comparison to any other models in 1994. Then this recorded dramatic changes, growing up to 6720 cars ( 14% of the total) in 2004, after which it climbed to 12.480 new cars, which accounted for 24% in 2014. The figures for other car types contributed to 19% (7980 new cars) at first, reached 10.080 cars (21%) in 2004, and increased slightly to 10.920 cars in 2014, but recorded the same proportion.
