The given pie charts illustrate the proportion of three types of energy sources used to generate electricity in four nations from 2003 to 2008.
Overall, it can be seen that fossil fuel was the main source of electricity production in Vietnam and India, while the other two countries had the vast majority of hydropower.
To be more specific, hydropower dominated electricity production in Morocco with 95%. This kind of power was used to generate more than half of the electricity in Sweden, which was 8% higher than that in Vietnam. In contrast, just 14% of India’s electricity produced from hydropower.
As for fossil fuels, India was the country that had the largest percentage of electricity generated from this type of energy source, at 82%, followed by Vietnam with 56%. However, fossil fuel was the least energy source in electricity production, accounting for just 4-5% in the remaining countries. Regarding nuclear power, it was only used to produce electricity in two countries India and Sweden with a significant difference of 44% in Sweden, which was over ten times in India.
