The pie charts indicate the sources of the electricity produced in four countries – India, Sweden, Morocco, and Vietnam – in the year 2008.
In 2008 India used fossil fuel as main electricity source (82%) and the remainder was produced from hydro power (14%) and nuclear power(which produced only 4%). Similarly, the fossil fuel was the main source in another Asian Country – Vietnam, producing more than a half 56% of electricity, the other is Nuclear power (44%).
In contrast, Sweden and Morocco used fossil fuel as a source for only 4% and 5% respectively. The main source of electricity in Sweden is hydro power (52%), while the hydro power also produced almost 95% of electricity in Morocco in 2008.
Overall, the main energy source in the year 2008 in India and Vietnam is fossil fuel, meanwhile that of Sweden and Morocco is Hydro power. Sweden is the country that used nuclear power the most in the four countries.
