The graphs show how many parcels TNT and FedEx delivered from 1920 to 2000. Overall, in 1920 Federal Express delivered parcels much more than TNT mail services. However, in 1960 both companies reached the same point. By the end of 2000 TNT mail services overtook the place of federal express and delivered more.
For two decades, FedEx significantly increased from 15,000 to 25,000. Meanwhile, TNT parcels delivered approximately 5,000, a growth of nearly 8,000 by the end of 1940. In the next 10 years (from 1950 to 1960) FedEx dramatically decreased by almost 13,000, and in 1960 fell to 12,00. However, TNT mail services rose rapidly from around 7,000 in 1950 to 11,000 in 1960.
From 1960 to 1980, FedEx showed wild fluctuation, reaching 11,000 to 18,000. However, TNT experienced moderated changes and remained at the same point by the end of 1980. However, federal express parcels delivered did not change until 2000. While TNT mail services drop from 11,000 to around 25,000 (from 1980 to 2000).
