The diagram shows the process by which recycled paper is produced. Overall, there are four stages, starting with the production of pulp from used paper, followed by filtering and cleaning the pulp, and ending with the final recycled product. Additionally, the process is a simple one and therefore takes a short time to complete.
In the initial stage, collected used paper is moved along the conveyor belt, which is then dumped into the container with water and chemicals in order to turn it into pulp. Once the pulp has been made, it proceeds to the large sieve where it is filtered, so that the filtered pulp can be cleaned in the container with water and soap. In addition, in this stage, the remaining ink is removed from the pulp. Afterward, the cleaned pulp is dumped into a container with water and chemicals again.
In the subsequent stage, the purified pulp is placed on a conveyor belt, where it is smoothed and dried by three heated rollers. During this stage, the paper and rollers have to be sprayed with water to cool them down. Finally, the recycled paper is ready for sale.
