The illustration demonstrates the current layout of biomedical campus at a university with its proposed planned development.
Overall, biomedical campus will undergo significant changes, the most notable of which is the shrinking of spacious tree places. Additionally, the campus’s specialized facilities are expected to increase in numbers and change in structural design.
At present, the campus is divided into three main areas by the main road and walkway. The top part of the campus includes a spacious tree-covered area and a nearby car park. On the lower right, three main buildings, including genetics, laboratory and Biotech, specialize in teaching and researching activities of university. The area on the left side of the map holds small trees, a laboratory and a biochemistry.
In the future, the site will be more integrated as the road will be removed and replaced by a revised walkway. Moreover, the tree-covered area will be demolished, making way for two building genetics 1 and bioimaging and students can be used car park site. The biotech on the lower right of campus will be expanded more in size, while the genetics facility will be renamed Genetics 2. On the left sides, the campus will have noticeable changes, with the road expanding and the angled building staff car park. While biochemistry will be constructed more in length, laboratory will remain its initial place for both sides.
