The given maps provide information about the layout of the biomedical campus at a university at present and how it will be changed in the future after redevelopment.
Overall, this campus has planned to experience tangible modifications, with the most notable ones being the increase in size of biotech room and the demolition of wooded area and roads to add new scientific facilities and a new parking lot for staff.
This analysis will commence with the western part of the map. In the top-left corner of the campus, road along the exterior wall will be narrowed and extended to the south. The green space in the north and the road in the middle of the map will be removed to make the way for new genetics 1 and bioimaging room. While the lab below the bioimaging room will remain unchanged, the biochemistry building next to it will be extended to the north. Additionally, new roads will be constructed from the west to the southeast and extended from the west to the east.
Attention will now turn to the eastern portion of the campus. The car park in the north will be divided into a new staff car park in the bottom-left corner and a new student parking lot in order to increase the number of cars. Whereas the lab opposite to the student car park will be left untouched, the genetics lying to the walkway will be converted into genetics 2. Finally, the biotech room in the south will be enlarged.
