The diagrams illustrate the changes made to a library between the year 2000 and the present day.
Overall, it is evident that the library has undergone significant modifications, including changes in the positions of several sections and the merging of some areas in order to create more space for users.
In 2000, there were two large fiction book sections in the library. One was located in the left corner and extended towards the right side, where the second fiction section was situated. In the center of the library, there were three separate sections for art, hobbies, and cookery books. On the left-hand side near the entrance, there were travel and new books sections for visitors. In addition, the service desk was positioned beside the new books section, while the non-fiction section was located on the right side of the desk.
At present, the entrance, travel, and new books sections remain unchanged. The service desk has also stayed in the same position, although the non-fiction section on the right side has been completely replaced by a café for library users. On the opposite side, the two fiction sections have been merged with the central sections for art, hobbies, and cookery, forming a larger combined area. Furthermore, the former fiction section on the left side has been replaced with a non-fiction books section. Another noticeable change is the addition of a seating area in the center of the library, where users can sit and read books.
