The diagram demonstrates the method on how drinkable water is produced by using solar-pwered water pump and a filtration system.
Overall, the process consists of 3 main stages, beginning with converting sunlight into electricity, followed by extracting that energy and store water, concluding by filtering water to make it potable.
Initially, sunlight is captured by a solar panel to be turned into electricity by a converter. The power then used to power a pump located underground. The water which has been pumped then goes along the pipe and drawn into a water tank, which placed on a raised wooden platform.
Subsequently, a water filter which is installed inside the tank removes impurities and leaves the purified water to go out through the pipe. Finally, that water goes along the pipe and meets a tap before being captured by a moveable container underneath for use in distribution. The water, then, is fully ready for being used.
