The diagram illustrates the process involved in producing flavoured beverages from raw water at a production plant. Overall, the procedure consists of several stages, beginning with water purification and ending with the packaging of the final product.
Initially, raw water is transported to the production facility, where it undergoes filtration to remove solid impurities. The filtered water then passes through a softening unit, where certain chemicals are added to convert hard water into soft, drinkable water.
After softening, the water is pumped into electric heaters and boiled to eliminate harmful microorganisms and bacteria. Once heating is complete, the water is cooled through cooling pipes before being transferred to the carbonation tank. In this tank, carbon dioxide is added, turning the water into sparkling water.
Following carbonation, the carbonated water is moved to the mixing tank, where three main ingredients – colour, syrup, and flavour – are combined to produce the flavoured beverage. The mixture then undergoes another round of filtration to remove any remaining solid particles or pulp. Finally, the finished drink is filled into bottles, sealed, and packed into crates for shipment and distribution.
