The bar chart illustrates the percentage of consumers who would consider buying cars from technology companies, such as Google or Apple, based on different markets and age groups.
Overall, consumers in developing countries show a higher willingness to switch to tech-company cars than those in developed nations. In addition, younger people are noticeably more open to this idea compared to older age groups.
Getting back to the data by market, India has the highest proportion of consumers willing to buy cars from tech companies, at 81%. This is followed by China and Brazil, with 74% and 63% respectively. In contrast, European countries show much lower figures. For example, only 38% of French consumers express willingness, while the percentage in Germany, the US, and the UK are even lower, at 32%, 29%, and 26% respectively.
Turning to age groups, people aged 18-34 are the most recepitive, with 65% willing to consider such cars. This figure drops to 49% among those aged 35-49, and falls further to just 26% for consumers aged 50 and above.
