The maps below show how a small local museum and its surrounding has changed between 1957 and 2007. It is clear that the layout of the local museum has changed significantly with more private rooms.
The museum was designed in 1957 included national history exhibition, local history room and museums store-room. The main entrance hall was directly accessible from the museum hall’s south with local history room and museum store room in both sides. Outside the local museum, there were a big garden in the north west surrounded by a lots of trees.
On the other hand, in 2007, the entrance has also been relocated to the southwest corner of the museum leading directly into the museum shop, next to the reception and close to a new café. Besides, the national history exhibition in 1957 has expanded and has become a local history room. In the upper corner of the museum, a new education centre and a new special exhibitions have been constructed. Finally, the construction oft two news rooms has reduced in size by half.
