The maps illustrate the changes in a place named Paradise Island over the past and present.
Overall, the region has experienced dramatic transformation and urbanization of infrastructure. Several new facilities and cycle paths were added in the area.
First and foremost, the tropical trees were all cut off and replaced by open restaurants and swimming pools. Moreover, the Scientific Research station located on the west side of the island had been demolished and replaced by the Hotel complex. A new area, Scenic Lookout, was built and situated to the northeast of the Natural Spring. A new cycling path was also built around the site for visitors to explore the island through cycling.
Apart from that, the beach situated to the northeast of the Hotel complex had experienced a huge reduction in size. The Natural Spring and the pier located in the northeast and southwest region respectively have remained at the same location over the years, although an extension of the pier can be observed.
