The process diagram clearly illustrates the stages involved in the filtration of contaminated water into clean, drinkable water.
Overall, it can be seen that the process is linear and, consists of several distinct steps, beginning with the intake of dirty water and culminating in the pure drinking water. Throughout the procedure, contaminated water undergoes a series of transformations, including filtering , moving and storage to maintain clean and quality.
At the outset, the dirty water is put into a plastic barrel. Then, it goes downward and, reaches a layer of sand. After being filtrated, it flows to a layer of charcoal for further filtration. At the next stage, it moves to a filtration layer of gravel.
In the subsequent phase, that clean water enters a storage drum through a tube before being stored. Thus, the plastic barrel is set up above the storage drum. Ultimately, the drinkable water is utilized from a tap, which is located in the lower part of storage drum.
